SpaceComputer is building space internet infrastructure: the open, credibly neutral hardware and software standard for orbital compute, built so that any operator can adopt it, any tenant can verify it, and no single vendor can control it.

The space economy is expanding faster than the early internet ever did, but it's heading for the same bottleneck that nearly stalled the internet in the 1990s. Every operator is building a vertically integrated silo, with no shared standard to connect them and no way to verify what any provider is actually doing. Trust in orbit today is contractual, not cryptographic, and that doesn't scale to the ecosystem taking shape above us.

We're building the layer that lets it scale. Our architecture combines Linux's open software model with HTTPS's cryptographic verifiability, delivered as a satellite-native standard from day one. The hardware root of trust is distributed across independent secure elements from separate vendors, so no single party owns the verification infrastructure. This is the Orbital Root of Trust: a public, general-purpose compute platform anchored in the physical isolation of satellites, where post-launch inaccessibility becomes a security primitive that no terrestrial system can match.

Space internet means compute, storage, and communications moving across multiple operators, jurisdictions, and satellites. It only works if every party can verify every other without trusting a single authority. That's what SpaceComputer makes possible, which is why space internet infrastructure and trust architecture are the same project at different layers.
